Aaron Martin CEO

Aaron Martin, Chief Executive Officer

Aaron Martin received his undergraduate degree from Indiana University and a master’s of public administration from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He has been with JobOne since 2005. Aaron’s history of working with people with developmental disabilities goes back 20 years. His belief that people’s strengths should never be underestimated pushes him to work as a strong advocate for JobOne’s mission.

Delores Buffa

Delores Buffa, Vice President, Operations

Delores Buffa is a graduate of the University of Missouri, earning her bachelor’s degree in journalism. She has been with the organization since 2006 and currently oversees the Secure Document Solutions, Recycling Services and Packaging & Assembly divisions. Her work experience includes marketing, public relations, sales and operations within various industries, including document management. She promotes quality work, superior service and strong working relationships and partnerships as key to any successful business and considers it pivotal in meeting JobOne’s mission.

Kelly Logan

Kelly Logan, Vice President,Human Resources

Kelly Logan graduated from Central Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration, with a major in personnel. She has been with the organization since 1984. Kelly has worked in many positions in the organization and currently heads the Human Resources division. Kelly believes in JobOne’s mission and always refers to the mission when making decisions. She feels that she is fortunate to work with everyone at JobOne and is a proud member of the JobOne team.


David Flowers, Contract Director

David Flowers has been in Government contracting for 30 years. Thirteen of those with JobOne and the Ability One program David attended Kansas City Kansas Community College. He has served on the executive board of the Kansas City Mail Systems Management Association and as member of the Greater Kansas City Postal Customer Counsel. Strong customer service, along with service to our employees are key values David enjoys bringing to his position.

Anne Hochstein

Anne Hochstein, Vice President, JobOne Careers

Anne Hochstein received her undergraduate degree from Kansas State University and a Master of Business Administration from The University of Phoenix – Kansas City Campus. She joined JobOne in 2014 after a diverse career in retail management and student enrollment and advisement. Her experience includes business management, human resources, sales, operations and student advisement . Anne embraces the mission of JobOne and promotes new programs and services as the Director of JobOne Careers. She is excited about discovering and promoting new opportunities for people with disabilities and helping them achieve their individual goals.

Cristy Carpenter, Employee Services Director

Cristy Carpenter has been with JobOne (Foundation Workshop Inc.) since 1998 after relocating to the Kansas City area from Wichita, KS. Cristy has experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities in the workplace and residential setting, with experience that extends back 20 years. Cristy believes that all individuals with disabilities deserve to have meaningful and sustainable employment that matches their skills, interests, and aspirations and this belief drives the work that she does.

Melody Scott, Director of Finance

Melody Scott joined Job One in 2015. She graduated from Park University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and she also holds certification in Excel. Melody has prior career experience in accounting, as well as teaching and working with children with disabilities. She is passionate about the mission of Job One and providing job opportunities for individuals with disabilities.

Karen Flattery, Director of Fund Development

Karen Flattery has worked in nonprofit fundraising and community relations for 25+ years. Prior to joining JobOne in 2016, she served as Director of Development for the Drumm Farm Center for Children; Executive Director of the Alliance for Stronger Families; and most recently as the Chief Development Officer for Village Shalom, among fundraising positions with other area nonprofits. Karen has extensive experience helping nonprofit organizations “tell their story” to generate awareness and inspire donors.
